Accessibility training courses
We offer a series of inspiring and education training courses to fit different roles, skill sets and levels of expertise. You can participate in our training sessions online, watch videos of them when it works for you, or we can do on-site training in your organisation.
Our basic training is intended for anyone who is completely new to what accessibility is about, what guidelines apply, and how accessibility affects you. Our nanotraining is an online course that you can use to motivate and spread basic knowledge on accessibility throughout your entire organisation.
Funka Academy is an e-learning platform where we publish our on-demand courses and topics in accessibility.
With an active subscription to Funka Academy, you or your organization will access over 25 subjects and courses (where 8 are in spoken English), checklists, and how-tos in accessibility developed by Funka's experts. Choose the subscription type that suits you best.
Intended for anyone who knows the basics and who wants to know more and find out what applies specifically to one’s own professional role as, for example, a developer, editor or designer. Here there are also separate trainings on regulatory requirements, PDF files, apps, plain language, etc.
Do you want to be sure that the document that is published online can be read by everyone? Learn to create PDF files that meet the requirements in the Web Accessibility Directive. At Funka’s training courses on accessible PDF files and documents, you will be given all the tools you need to pull it off.
Intended for anyone looking to prepare for certification in accessibility through taking either CPACC or WAS. Both certifications are issued by the International Association of Accessibility Professionals (IAAP).
