Accessibility for Decision-makers - course package

Overview

This package will provide you with accessibility knowledge in areas relevant to your role. In particular, you will need to keep up to date with legislation in this area and ensure that your communications with suppliers and customers meet accessibility requirements.

No prior knowledge is required; the package includes two introductory courses which form the basis of the other courses.

For whom?

The content of this course package is designed for system owners, sales/marketing managers, purchasers, project managers or other decision-makers. You are in a position of responsibility for your organisation's offering. You now want to ensure that your products or services are accessible, in order to make demands on suppliers and/or satisfy customers. You also understand that an accessible offer means reaching a wider market.

You do not need any prior knowledge of accessibility as the introductory courses are included in the package.

How are the courses delivered?

All courses included in the package are delivered using our two-step pedagogical model; you get a knowledge base through self-paced training videos followed by in-depth, interactive live course sessions.

Self-paced courses

Funka Academy's recorded courses are for those who want broad basic knowledge in accessibility close at hand. You get a basic overview but also the opportunity to focus on selected areas that you have a particular need for.

You can take part in the courses on-demand when it suits you, you get access to them immediately after registration. Each course consists of training films that are divided into parts to make it easier for you to assimilate the content. You can also use the courses as a knowledge bank; the search function makes it easy to find what you need.

Add live sessions

Do you want to further improve your theoretical and practical skills? Maybe you have, or are about to enter, a role where deeper knowledge of accessibility is necessary? Or you simply believe that you learn best and most from instructor-led teaching, application and practice.

For you, we offer live sessions as a continuation and extension of the recorded basic courses.

After the course package 

Once you have completed all the courses in the package, you will receive a Digital Training Certificate showing that you have participated and the scope and content of the course package.

You will have continued access to the recorded courses including materials and knowledge bank for 6 months from the date of order.
