Accessibility and tourism
Funka has received support from the Swedish Institute to develop instructional videos about accessibility and disabilities for the The Turkish Union of Tourist Guides’ Chambers.
The project aims to increase awareness and knowledge of accessibility and disability, so that the tourist guides in place in Turkey will be able to provide good service to both domestic and international visitors with different conditions.
The content of the films will include both physical barriers and accessible communication.
It's great that we have so many assignments that include video now, says Cecilia Gustafsson, who works with Funkas film production. The combination of sound and images provide many benefits from the accessibility perspective.
