EIT Health – RSCN Meeting, Coimbra, May 21, 2019

The EIP on AHA Reference Site Ageing@Coimbra will host a full day workshop focused on dissemination and synergies between EIT Health projects and Reference Sites of EIP on AHA.

Two special sessions will focus on RSCN – EIT Health synergies.

The first session will address special projects and twinning schemes for CARE provider’s training using online resources (including MOOC’s). This workshop will stand of the success of the EIT Health project CARE Campus and will foster dissemination of the MOOCS produced by CARE consortium to inspire RS, to identify CARE Ambassadors and to attract new students/Care providers to complete the courses.

The second workshop will address citizen’s engagement and empowerment to support healthy life styles. For this, the EIT Health project HeaLIQs4Cities will be presented as a success case. RS will be invited to showcase success stories and to develop twinning collaborative projects for large-scale dissemination of good practices focusing on literacy to the citizens.

The third session will potentiate successful twinning projects between RS, showcasing on-going twinning successful projects and creating the collaborative spirit to develop future twinning schemes. Moreover, in this session the panel will present planned components of the evaluation of new Reference Sites and renewal process of the existing Reference Sites.

The fourth and last session of the workshop will be dedicated to create communication channels and collaborative environment between RSCN and other relevant networks, At the long-term, this may inspire stakeholders to move towards a collaborative coalition to support Healthy Living  and Active Ageing in Europe.
